Welcome to the new MSAA.net - an improved, modern web experience

Posted: August 21, 2024

If you are reading this News story ... congratulations! You have reached the new and improved MSAA.net, a modern version of the Massachusetts School Administrators' Association website designed to better serve its member schools, staff, and the general public.

The MSAA is working with the web agency Gravity Works Design & Development to enhance our digital brand. Gravity Works' previous experience in working with multiple other state high school associations on website design and management has made for a seamless, professional and effective collaboration.

The first phase of rebuilding our web presence focused on rebuilding msaa.net, as well as miaa.net, which launched earlier this summer. We heavily focused on improving the user experience for visitors through streamlined navigation, refreshed content, and a modern, engaging web design. MSAA administrators have robust publication tools, set in an intuitive CMS platform, that allows us to highlight student stories and association events. User experience experts and front-end developer worked closely with the MSAA to place usability at the forefront, building a website and digital tools that works well for everyone - from administrators to parents and student-athletes.

Some of the highlights of the new MSAA.net:

  • Search function: Type a few keywords into the box at the top right of the site, and quickly display a list of relevant pages or resource files
  • News and Events features: A key goal of the new website is to better inform constituents of what is relevant and important in the association; News and Events are searchable, and also display on relevant pages throughout the website
  • Reorganized site map and menus: Click through the Main menu options at the top of any page to find Landing Pages and submenus that should guide and direct the user to quickly find any information needed
    •

The MSAA and Gravity Works plan to rebuild other components of our website in future phases, including a more integrated registration system for schools and administrators.
