Leading at All Levels

October 18th, 2024
8:30 am - 11:30 am

To be an effective leader, it is essential you inspire your community to see their stories as part of the bigger picture. But how do you lead with this sense of empathy, especially when there are competing theories on leadership?

The answer is simple: love.

The workshop is intended for leaders at all levels to begin to think about their place within their organization to create and sustain systems leadership at all levels. The workshop will include personal stories and anecdotes that serve to formalize the strategies that help all educators engage in the difficult work of building a positive culture. The interactive workshop will guide educators to better understand the power of this work and then dive into their own stories, fears, and difficulties to create concrete plans and ideas that can be implemented immediately.

Participants will:

  • Learn about common school-based leadership structures
  • Learn strategies about how to become a leader within the community you serve by diving into your unique purpose and place within it
  • Engage in self-care and reflection by using the stories we all have and by hearing the stories of others to embrace a common understanding and perspective of the importance of all stakeholders
  • Learn to lean into fear and see it as a vehicle to catapult people to new levels of leadership using the fear-inspired model of mindset and leadership
  • Learn more about ideas and ways to help set goals and reflect on the long-term implementation of large-scale visionary planning in the community you serve
