Effective Strategies to Become the Leader You Envision

October 17th, 2024
8:30 am - 11:27 am

Your success as an educational leader largely hinges on how your supervisor perceives or evaluates your work. There are actions you can take to make sure your boss knows and values what you do. In this workshop, we will name specific strategies you can implement to meet expectations and communicate effectively. This workshop will help school leaders to accept and provide feedback for improvement, delegate and prioritize, build trust and credibility, lead their teams, think strategically, coach and evaluate those who report to them, develop, and implement plans, and document successes.

Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of leadership and communication skills needed to become the leader they aspire to be.

Key Workshop Topics:

  • Understanding Leadership Expectations: Knowing the key qualities and behaviors your supervisor expects
  • Feedback and Constructive Criticism: Learning how to receive and use feedback in a constructive manner
  • Time Management and Prioritization: Sharing methods for managing time efficiently, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Building Trust and Credibility: Understanding how to build trust and credibility with your team and your supervisor
