This workshop will include co-presenters, sharing a model for consent education workshops. Purpose behind bringing consent workshops to your school, specifically working through Athletic Teams. How Cambridge Athletics is working to create a Culture of Consent, and why all schools should be prioritizing this education in health classes and among athletic teams, and student athletes. |
Workshop Objectives: · Provide an understanding of Consent Culture, what is it? What does it include topics such as bullying, hazing, the power dynamic on teams, locker room talk, etc. · Why it is important to create a culture of consent? · Why it is important to address through athletic teams and student athletes? |
